Son La shares mass mobilization experience with Laos’ Bokeo and Oudomxay provinces

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province (VFF Son La) on June 10 held talks with a delegation from the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) chapters of Bokeo and Oudomxay provinces.

The talks focused on sharing experience in mass mobilisation work between VFF Son La and the LFNC chapters of Bokeo and Oudomxay provinces.

The Son La delegation comprised Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of VFF Son La; Vi Duc Tho, Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Nguyen Manh Hung, Permanent Vice Chairman of VFF Son La; among others.

The Lao side included Somsak Pinkeo, Chairman of LFNC Bokeo; and Vannakeo Santy, Chairman of LFNC Oudomxay.

At the talks, Cha A Cua warmly welcomed the delegation from Bokeo and Oudomxay provinces and presented highlights of VFF Son La’s activities in the first six months of 2026.

The Chairmen of the LFNC chapters of Bokeo and Oudomxay appreciated Son La’s achievements in mass mobilisation work, while sharing experience in building the great national unity bloc, mobilising people to participate in socio-economic development, new-style rural development, and maintaining local security and order.

VFF Son La and its Bokeo and Oudomxay counterparts signed a working minutes, focusing on key contents such as continuing to coordinate dissemination efforts to help people of both countries, especially the younger generations, to deepen understanding and pride in the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; and creating favourable conditions for the Fatherland Front and socio-political organisations at the local level to strengthen exchanges, friendly visits, and mutual support.
