At the event, provincial People’s Committee leaders reported on the implementation of investment projects approved in principle, or granted approval for adjustments to their investment policies, by the provincial Party Committee and its Standing Board since the start of the 2025-2030 tenure. They also outlined progress in addressing obstacles and bottlenecks to stalled and long-delayed projects across the province.
According to the report, the province approved 47 new projects in the first 10 months of 2026, with total registered investment capital of 94.09 trillion VND (3.64 billion USD). The provincial People’s Committee has also held meetings and exchanged investment information with capable and reputable corporations and businesses to promote and attract investment to the province.
Investors are currently studying potential projects and submitting proposals, while provincial departments and agencies are actively providing guidance on procedures and administrative requirements to help them complete documentation and proceed with implementation once all necessary conditions are met.
In his concluding remarks, Nghiem called on Party committees, Party organisations, agencies and units across the province to strictly implement directives and guidance issued by the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee on economic growth targets.
He directed the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee to instruct the provincial administration to ensure close coordination between relevant departments, agencies and project investors, accelerate administrative procedures and promptly resolve obstacles related to planning, land and site clearance.
The measures are intended to facilitate the implementation of projects that have received in-principle investment approval, particularly those that can be launched in the fourth quarter of 2026, he noted.
He also stressed the need to maintain close engagement with businesses, promptly resolve issues within the authorities’ remit and create the most favourable conditions for production, business operations and project implementation across the province.
Authorities must prevent administrative delays from causing the loss of investment opportunities or undermining the province’s economic growth in the final months of 2026 and subsequent years, he said./.
