Standing Board of Party Committee of Son La provincial People's Committee holds June meeting

Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet chaired the June meeting of the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial People's Committee to review and provide opinions on several matters under its authority on June 29.

At the meeting, the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial People's Committee discussed and provided opinions on a number of proposals, draft notices and reports concerning the assignment of responsibilities to members of the Standing Board for the 2025–2030 term in directly signing documents submitted to the standing members and the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, and the provincial Party Committee; the results of leadership and direction in implementing tasks during the first six months of 2026 and key tasks for the remaining months of the year.

Participants also exchanged views on the progress in implementing projects and addressing difficulties and obstacles facing them across the province; the implementation of the 2026 public investment plan in the first half and tasks and solutions for the second half; in-principle approval of investment policies for several solar power projects; and the allocation, reassignment and transfer of public assets, including office headquarters, buildings and land, to agencies and units for management and use.

Concluding the meeting, Viet called on standing members and members of Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial People's Committee to continue reviewing and providing comments on draft reports, notices and proposals. He also assigned advisory agencies to thoroughly review and incorporate all feedback in order to finalise the documents, ensuring their quality and timely completion before submission to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision-making.

He urged advisory and support agencies to further enhance their sense of responsibility and proactively strengthen coordination in providing policy advice and implementing assigned tasks, and focusing on the effective fulfillment of key objectives and priorities for the remaining six months of 2026./.
