The project, invested in by Chieng An Son La Tourism Joint Stock Company, has a designed capacity of 300,000 to 400,000 visitors per year.
To date, the investor has allocated 100 billion VND (3.88 million USD) in equity capital, of which about 12.5 billion VND has been disbursed. Topographical surveys have been completed, along with the preparation of a general site layout and design plan. Detailed planning documents at a scale of 1:500 are currently being finalised.
Negotiations with local households on the transfer of land-use rights have reached about 95% completion. Land under the management of the Ca and Phieng Panh hamlet communities has also been fully inventoried.
Under the project schedule, land, construction and environmental procedures are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. Phase 1 construction is scheduled to run from the second quarter of 2027 to the third quarter of 2028, while preparations for Phase 2 will proceed concurrently. The project is expected to reach full operational capacity in the fourth quarter of 2030.
Following the site inspection, Chien instructed the Department of Construction to review the planning and design proposals, as well as technical solutions suited to the area's rocky mountainous terrain, to ensure construction safety and quality.
Relevant provincial departments and agencies, together with the Chieng An ward People's Committee, were asked to strengthen coordination and promptly address difficulties and obstacles related to land, construction and environmental procedures within their respective authority.
The investor was urged to mobilise resources, expedite the completion of legal procedures and select a sufficiently qualified construction contractor, with the aim of commencing the project in December 2026./.
