The All-People National Security Protection movement in Thao Nguyen ward has been widely implemented, attracting broad participation from local residents. The ward police have proactively given advice on and organised crime prevention and law enforcement efforts, ensuring that no complicated incidents occurred, no unexpected developments arose, and no “hotspots” emerged or developed.

All residential groups, agencies, businesses and schools have registered and signed commitments to maintain security and public order. The ward has effectively maintained 183 self-governing inter-family groups, while 17 grassroots mediation teams have regularly monitored local developments and promptly resolved conflicts among residents, making a positive contribution to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the event, Viet asked Thao Nguyen ward to closely align security and public order tasks with local socio-economic development goals.

Every family should serve as a stronghold for peace, while every resident should act as an advocate for security, joining hands to safeguard peace and safety in the community. The ward should continue to accelerate digital transformation in social management and apply science and technology to better serve residents and improve management efficiency, thereby preventing crime at an early stage and from afar.

He called for determination to maintain the ward’s status as a safe, civilised and friendly locality, turning it into a bright spot for socio-economic development coupled with national defence and security.
