Vietnam’s top leader visits, presents gifts to revolutionary contributors in Son La province

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2026), Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, together with a delegation from the Party Central Committee and leaders of Son La province, visited and presented gifts to people who rendered services to the revolution in Van Ho commune and Thao Nguyen ward on July 15.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Doan The Ky, a 1/4 war invalid residing in Sao Do 2 Sub-area, Van Ho commune, and the family of Tran Xuan Han, a revolutionary who had been imprisoned by enemy forces, living in Residential Area 19/8, Thao Nguyen ward.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam warmly inquired about the health and well-being of the families and expressed his profound gratitude for the tremendous contributions and sacrifices made by war invalids and other people with meritorious services to the revolution in the national defence cause. He expressed his hope that they would continue to serve as exemplary role models in implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws for younger generations to follow.

The top leader reaffirmed that the Party and the State always remember the great sacrifices and contributions of heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick veterans, and revolutionary contributors. He also urged local Party committees and authorities to continue paying close attention to improving the material and spiritual well-being of policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors in the locality.
