The provincial Department of Education and Training summed up the 12th Excellent Primary School Teacher Competition in Son La province in the 2024-2025 academic year on April 2, with 168 teachers winning the recognition.
This year’s competition saw the participation of 198 teachers from 10 districts, Moc Chau township, and Son La city. They presented a measure to contribute to improving the quality of teaching at the educational institutions where they are working; and practiced teaching one lesson of the primary school programme.

The participating teachers were well-prepared, creative and innovative in applying information technology to teaching. They demonstrated good pedagogical skills and professional knowledge, inspiring students' proactiveness and creativity; and completed the competition well.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded its certificate of merit to one teacher with outstanding achievements; the provincial Department of Education and Training presented the certificates of merit to 30 individuals; the provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded the certificates of merit to 30 individuals; and the provincial Association of Former Teachers gave the certificates of merit to five individuals.
