Huoi Mot comes alive with ethnic culture, festive colour

Immediately after the opening of the Huoi Mot commune Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival 2026, cultural performances and traditional costume displays took place.

The art performance contest, organised by the commune from January 11, drew 27 teams representing all 27 hamlets. Well prepared, the teams presented performances rich in traditional cultural identity. As a result, 11 standout acts were selected to be staged at the Huoi Mot Culture and Sports Festival 2026. Featuring songs and dances praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as love for the homeland and the aspiration to rise, the performances added a festive atmosphere to the event.

Traditional costume presentations by the Mong, Thai, Xinh Mun and Kho Mu ethnic groups served as a highlight between cultural performances. The traditional attire not only showcased elegance but also celebrated the rustic beauty and rich cultural identity of Huoi Mot commune, helping promote valuable cultural heritage while fostering pride and a sense of responsibility among younger generations to preserve and carry forward their ethnic traditions.
