Mong ethnic people in Co Ma preserve traditional attire

Co Ma is formed by the merger of Co Ma, Co Tong, and Pa Long communes of former Thuan Chau district. It is home to 2,813 households with a population of over 14,000 people, with the Mong accounting for 91%.

Mong women in Co Ma commune preserve the beauty of their traditional attire.

Locals wear traditional clothing not only in daily life but also during festivals and holidays. Their garments such as shirts, hats, belts, trousers, and bodices are adorned with intricate embroidery, featuring traditional spiral motifs as well as newer floral patterns like grass, flowers, and leaves.

This helps preserve, promote, and honour the traditional cultural beauty of the Mong ethnic community.
