Muong Chanh commune is home to the traditional pottery craft of the Thai ethnic people, which has existed for generations.

The people of Muong Chanh preserve the traditional pottery craft.

Currently, there are three households in the commune still practicing pottery-making and five businesses selling ceramic products. The commune is implementing various measures to preserve the traditional craft, such as combining it with experiential tourism activities; encouraging locals to continue production while harmoniously integrating traditional elements with modern trends to create ceramic products that meet consumer tastes; showcasing and promoting ceramic products at events within and beyond the province; and connecting with businesses and organisations to explore and expand markets for these products.
