The exhibition features 80 file photos showcasing the 80-year history of the provincial armed forces. The works document the forces’ traditional milestones, from their early participation in the wars against French colonialists and US imperialists, to international duties, and later peacetime contributions including disaster relief, disease prevention, rural development, and maintaining local security and defence.

The week-long event is also part of activities marking other major political milestones at the national and provincial levels. It aims to widely educate officials, Party members, armed forces personnel, and the public, especially the younger generation, about the forces’ historical achievements, underscoring their role and contributions to national construction and defence.

The exhibition also promotes patriotism, revolutionary ideals, unity, and national pride among officials, Party members, citizens, and armed forces personnel.
