Son La students showcase ethnic costumes

The Son La provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities organised an ethnic costume competition on April 12 evening.

Forty-eight contestants from the school’s 24 youth unions showcased and introduced traditional and modernised costumes of various ethnic groups.

The teams use a variety of performance forms.

The competition inspired national pride, and offered an opportunity for youth union members to enhance cultural exchanges. It also contributed to raise students’ awareness and responsibility for preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups.
