Training workshop on establishing model community art troupe in Muong Bang commune

The provincial Centre for Culture and Cinema, in coordination with the People's Committee of Muong Bang commune, organised a training workshop on establishing a model community art troupe for grassroots cultural core members from September 10 to 16.

Thirty-five cultural core members from Muong Bang commune received guidance from Meritorious Artists, musicians, and singers of the provincial Centre for Culture and Cinema. The training covered how to organise and develop cultural performance programmes, maintain and expand community art troupes at the grassroots level; basic dance movements; choreography of singing and dancing performances and traditional dances of ethnic groups such as the Muong, Thai, Mong, and Dao. 

Participants also learned singing techniques and methods for arranging solo, duet, trio, and group vocal performances; stage performance styles for ethnic folk songs; and techniques for arranging solo, duet, and ensemble performances of traditional musical instruments.

At the end of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates of completion. The training contributed to improving performance skills, artistic quality, stage discipline, and methods for organizing performances of community art troupes at the grassroots level. It also ensured that art troupes could produce high-quality performances in service of local political tasks and helped to promote the comprehensive development of grassroots cultural and artistic movements.
