10 breeding goat pairs presented to poor households in Muong Khieng commune

The Son La provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Muong Khieng commune, on January 24 organised a gift-giving programme on the occasion the Lunar New Year 2026.

At the event, the delegation presented 10 pairs of breeding goats to 10 poor households in Muong Khieng commune, with a total value of more than 65 million VND (2,487 USD). The funding was supported by the provincial Red Cross Society and the Vietnam Women’s Union of Hanoi’s Cau Giay ward.

The delegation presents breeding goats to local households.

This was one of the charitable activities implemented by the provincial Red Cross Society to support and create sustainable livelihoods for poor households in disadvantaged areas, helping families develop production, stabilise their lives, and gradually rise out of poverty.
