200 relief gifts distributed to people affected by flooding

The provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with FoodShare Northern Vietnam Social Enterprise Joint Stock Company, provided support to people affected by flooding in Sop Cop, Pung Banh, and Muong Lan communes on August 12-13.

 

The provincial Red Cross Society presents gifts to households affected by flooding in Pung Banh commune.

At the three communes, the delegation visited and offered encouragement to families affected by the floods, and distributed 200 relief packages. Each package included instant noodles, essential supplies, and 1 million VND (38 USD) in cash, with a total value of approximately 2.3 million VND per package. The total funding of 460 million VND (17,504 USD) was sponsored by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Hai Phong Red Cross Society, FoodShare Northern Vietnam Joint Stock Company, and the Red Cross-affiliated family of Ngoc Mai.

This meaningful activity reflects compassion and solidarity, helping disaster-affected households overcome difficulties and stabilise their lives.
