80-day peak emulation campaign for “three bests” launched

The provincial Military Command on July 24 launched an 80-day peak emulation campaign for the “three bests” to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Military Region 2 Armed Forces (October 19, 1946–2026).

The provincial Military Command launched an 80-day peak emulation campaign for the “three bests”.

The campaign will run from August 1 to October 19, focusing on three key priorities: fostering the highest level of determination, awareness, and responsibility; achieving the highest results in the performance of political tasks; and building regular forces with the strictest observance of laws and discipline.

Representatives of agencies and units sign an emulation pledge.

During the peak emulation campaign, the provincial Military Command aims to ensure that 100% of officers and soldiers are equipped with knowledge on and develop a thorough understanding of the 80-year building, combat and development tradition of the Military Region 2 Armed Forces. They will also actively promote digital transformation and green transition, participate in the “Digital Literacy for All” movement, effectively implement the 500-day campaign on the search for and repatriation of martyrs’ remains, and proactively assist local communities in recovering from natural disasters.

In training, the campaign targets 100% troop participation, with all assessment results meeting required standards and more than 80% rated good or excellent, and absolute safety for personnel, weapons and equipment ensured. It also focuses on building comprehensively strong, exemplary agencies and units in tandem with fostering clean and strong Party organisations, maintaining strict regularity and ensuring rigorous compliance with laws and military discipline.

Colonel Dau Thanh Quang, Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, addresses the launching ceremony.

At the launching ceremony, Colonel Dau Thanh Quang, Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, called on Party committees and commanders of units at all levels to fully grasp the significance of the peak emulation campaign and remain determined to successfully achieve its objectives and targets.

Based on their specific conditions and assigned tasks, they were asked to develop appropriate emulation targets and criteria, launch the campaign, and organise the signing of emulation pledges by every officer and soldier; and link the responsibilities of officials, Party members, and Youth Union members to the fulfillment of the campaign's goals.

He also stressed the importance of identifying, nurturing and replicating outstanding role models across all fields of work, making the emulation movement a driving force for agencies and units to successfully accomplish their assigned tasks./.
