Activity aims for a safe and healthy summer for children

The Youth Union of Ta Xua commune on August 8 organised a summer activity themed “For a Safe and Healthy Summer for Children,” attracting the participation of over 100 local children and teenagers.

During the session, participants were equipped with knowledge of history and geography through engaging quiz games and traditional folk games, helping deepen their understanding of national history and foster a stronger love for their homeland.

The event also included sessions on accident and injury prevention, especially drowning prevention, and how to recognise and respond to child abuse.

The activity created a safe and meaningful playground for children during the summer, while also helping to educate life skills, raise awareness, and strengthen solidarity and interaction among them.

It was a practical activity aimed at caring for the younger generation, demonstrating the community's attention and responsibility in protecting, nurturing, and educating children and adolescents.
