Book sheds light on Son La's anti-drug operations

The People's Public Security Publishing House has released "The Fight Against Drug Crime in Son La and the Case of the Heroes," a book by Colonel Tran Anh Tuan, a Hero of the People's Armed Forces and former Director of the Son La provincial Department of Public Security. The event came ahead of the 64th traditional day of the People’s Police Force (July 20, 1962–2026).

The four-chapter book provides a comprehensive account of the fight against drug crime in Son La. It recounts several landmark anti-drug operations, highlighting lessons in command and operational coordination, mass mobilisation and the development of a people-based security posture.

The publication also serves as a valuable reference for research, tradition education, professional training and the application of practical experience in combating drug-related crime in the new context./.

Officers from the PX03 Division of the Son La provincial Department of Public Security receive copies of the book.
