At the launching ceremony of the “Digital Summer Campaign with VNeID"
Under the campaign, running from June 5 to August 31, departments, agencies, mass organisations, communes and wards will step up communications efforts to raise public awareness of the benefits of the VNeID application and the key contents of Project 06.
Youth volunteer teams have been established to help residents access online public services, activate electronic identification accounts, integrate personal documents, and use the utilities available on the VNeID app. The teams will also guide citizens in participating in digital learning through the “Digital Literacy for All” platform.
A representative of the provincial Department of Public Security addresses the conference.
The campaign aims to ensure that 100% of eligible residents aged six and above, whether permanent or temporary residents, have their applications processed and receive guidance on activating Level-2 VNeID accounts.
It also targets the integration of social welfare accounts, driver's licences and vehicle registration certificates, as well as digital health records linked to health insurance cards, into Level-2 VNeID accounts for all eligible citizens. The effort is expected to enhance digital skills among the public and accelerate grassroots-level digital transformation.
