Hong Hoc Bridge serves the travel, daily living, and trading needs of residents in Phieng Tam and several neighbouring hamlets. Due to the impact of floods in 2025, the previous suspension bridge in this area was swept away, causing significant difficulties for local residents and students.
In response, the People’s Committee of Chieng An ward conducted surveys and invested in the construction of a concrete bridge with a length of 50 metres, at a total investment of nearly 550 million VND (20,956 USD) sourced from the ward’s budget contingency fund.
The bridge meets the travel, living, and production needs of local people, and contributing to the achievement of the locality’s socio-economic development goals.
