Chieng An ward honours 71 outstanding teachers and students

Chieng An ward on July 10 held a conference to review the 2025–2026 academic year and honour outstanding teachers and students for their achievements.

The ward is home to eight schools with 297 administrators, teachers and staff members, and nearly 4,100 students.

Education quality remained strong, with 99% of students completing their curricula, while all primary and secondary pupils completed their respective education programmes. Talent training also saw notable achievements, including 103 prizes at the ward-level competition for grades 6–8, and one first, four second, seven third and seven consolation prizes at the provincial competition for 9th graders. Hundreds of students also won awards in Violympic, IOE, Trang Nguyen Tieng Viet, VioEdu, scientific research, culture, arts and sports contests.

On the occasion, the Chieng An ward People's Committee presented certificates of merit to two collectives and 33 individuals, while honouring 11 teachers and 60 students for their outstanding achievements in competitions during the 2025–2026 academic year.
