Chieng Sung excels in social welfare work

In 2025, Chieng Sung commune processed and completed the files of seven individuals with severe disabilities, received and managed 330 pensioners and social welfare recipients, and distributed benefits in accordance with regulations.

Chieng Sung commune collaborates with philanthropists to deliver gifts to poor households.

The commune received and distributed 244 gift packages from the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans to local people with disabilities. Additionally, it distributed cash gifts for the National Day (September 2) holiday, with the Prime Minister's gift going to 14,160 residents, totaling 1.4 billion VND (53,723 USD). 

Chieng Sung has actively encouraged organisations and individuals to support social welfare programmes. Philanthropists have provided 63,600 boxes of milk, valued at 825 million VND, for local children, as well as clothing and essential items for poor households and students in the commune, totaling over 50 million VND.
