Construction of Ta Niet satellite school commences in Moc Chau township

Emulation Block No. 2 under the Ministry of National Defence, in coordination with the Military Command of Son La province on June 1 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of facilities at Ta Niet branch of Chieng Hac commune kindergarten in Moc Chau township.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the provincial Military Command and local authorities.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, Chieng Hac commune kindergarten operates six satellite sites with 17 classes, 440 students and 29 teachers and personnel. The Ta Niet satellite site alone accommodates 69 students and four teachers.

Each year, 98.4% of students at the school meet cognitive development benchmarks, and 96.8% achieve age-appropriate language milestones. The school ensures physical and emotional safety for all students, and 100% of those enrolled in the semi-boarding programme receive safe, nutritious meals.

The satellite school project includes three classrooms and a kitchen-dining facility, with a total investment of 2.4 billion VND (approximately 92.231 USD). Funding comes from Military Region 2’s “For the Poor” Fund and contributions from Emulation Block No. 2.

Viet Hung Construction Co., Ltd., based in Hanoi, serves as the project consultant, while Regiment 754 is the construction contractor. The construction is scheduled to run from June to September 2025.

The construction carries profound social significance. Once completed and put into use, the project will help improve the quality of education and training, providing local children with a clean and safe learning environment that meets the national standards for preschools.
