Cooperation agreement signed to implement "Accompanying Border Women" programme

Chieng On Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Phieng Khoai commune Women's Union, held a signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement to implement the "Accompanying Border Women" programme for the 2026–2030 period in Phieng Khoai commune’s Lao Kho 1 hamlet on July 2.

Under the agreement, annually the two units will jointly organise at least two communication activities on the Party's guidelines, State policies and laws, health care, and family building. They will also conduct one activity to enhance women's awareness of digital transformation and continue maintaining women's self-management groups responsible for protecting border lines and markers.

Chieng On Border Guard Station will contribute more than 200 workdays each year, provide technical assistance, and supply seedlings and livestock breeds to help women's union members develop sustainable livelihoods and reduce poverty.

By 2030, the two units aim to establish sustainable livelihood models associated with green transition and digital transformation; maintain or develop new women-managed cultural, artistic, and sports models; ensure that 100% of women's union officials and at least 30% of members use the "Phu nu Viet Nam" (Vietnam Women) mobile application; sponsor at least one student and mobilise resources to support at least 15 disadvantaged students living in border areas.

Gifts are presented to disadvantaged students sponsored by Chieng On Border Guard Station under the "Army Officers and Soldiers Support Students to Stay in School" project.

On this occasion, Chieng On Border Guard Station presented gifts to a disadvantaged student from Con Huot hamlet who is being sponsored under the "Army Officers and Soldiers Support Students to Stay in School" project. The Phieng Khoai Women's Union also launched the "Digital Women's Chapter" model in Lao Kho 1 hamlet, while organising legal awareness activities, providing guidance on preventing online scams, and instructing members on integrating personal documents into the VNeID application.
