Coordination regulations for protection of Ta Xua special-use forest signed

The Forest Protection Unit of Region 15 and the Tu Xua Special-Use Forest Management Board, in coordination with the local authorities of Suoi To, Muong Coi, and Ta Xua communes, on October 7 organised a signing ceremony for coordination regulations on forest protection, forest fire prevention and control, nature conservation, and biodiversity preservation.

Representatives from the participating units signed an agreement covering 13 areas of cooperation, including joint inspection and enforcement actions against individuals and organisations violating laws on forest protection, fire prevention, and biodiversity conservation; coordinated efforts to combat illegal construction on forestry land; monitoring and supervising eco-tourism and nature exploration activities involving forest resources; and afforestation efforts.

Delegates sign the coordination regulations on the protection of the Ta Xua special-use forest.

The signing of the coordination regulations aims to strengthen the capacity and responsibility of local authorities and specialised agencies in state forest management, thereby contributing to the sustainable conservation of nature and biodiversity in the Ta Xua special-use forest in the coming time.
