The event runs from February 28 to March 7.
As part of the week-long celebration, a variety of activities are scheduled to take place, including the “Green Journey” Run, a special art performance, and immersive cultural and tourism spaces showcasing vibrant local colours. Sports competitions will feature pickleball, badminton, soft volleyball, tug of war, stick pushing, and crossbow shooting, with the participation of more than 600 athletes from local agencies, schools, villages within the commune, and several neighbouring communes.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, athletes began competing in soft volleyball and pickleball events.
The event aims to introduce residents and visitors from inside and outside the province to local tourist destinations, including the Pha Din Pass national historical site, while promoting the commune’s tourism potential and advantages. It also seeks to foster cultural exchange and strengthen solidarity among ethnic communities in the area.
