Free check-ups, consultations, medicine offered to residents in Muong Bang commune

The Son La Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine, on September 13 delivered free medical check-ups, health consultations, and medicine for local residents in Muong Bang commune.

At the programme, 250 elderly people and policy beneficiaries in Muong Bang commune received general examinations, health consultations, and internal and external medicine check-ups from doctors, and medical staff of the provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine. At the same time, they were provided with supplements and medicine for common illnesses.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented 250 gift packages, each worth 400,000 VND (15 USD) to elderly people and policy beneficiaries in the commune. The total value of the programme was nearly 300 million VND.

This was one of the meaningful activities held in response to “Action Month for Vietnamese Elderly,” reflecting the community’s care and attention to the elderly and policy beneficiaries in the province.
