During the programme, more than 170 people received medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment for common skin conditions such as fungal infections, scabies, allergic contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and folliculitis.
These services were provided by doctors, nurses, and medical staff from the provincial Hospital of Dermatology and Leprosy and the Muong Lam commune Health Station.
Free medication was distributed, and local residents were also educated on how to prevent dermatological diseases after floods, helping them minimise complications and prevent the spread of skin diseases within the community. The total value of the programme exceeded 15 million VND (572 USD).
