Free health check-ups and medicine provided for residents in Muoi Noi commune

The provincial Red Cross Society, in cooperation with the Hai Phong city Red Cross Society and the provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine, on December 12 organised a programme to provide medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine to 250 residents in Muoi Noi commune.

The beneficiaries included poor households, people in difficult circumstances, the elderly, policy beneficiary families, and victims of Agent Orange

During the programme, doctors and nurses from the provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine conducted ultrasounds, general check-ups, blood pressure measurements, and offered consultations, providing knowledge and guidance on how to prevent common illnesses such as colds, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory conditions, stroke during winter. In addition, various types of supplements and common medications were distributed free of charge to local residents.

Leaders of the provincial Red Cross Society present warm coats to students of Ban Lam Primary and Secondary School in Muoi Noi commune.

Furthermore, the charity delegation donated over 960 warm coats to primary and secondary students of Ban Lam Primary and Secondary School in Muoi Noi commune, helping them stay warm during the winter and feel secure in their study. The total cost of the programme was 200 million VND (7,600 USD).
