More than 30 doctors and medical staff from Ha Thanh General Hospital and the medical clinic of the provincial Department of Public Security took part in the programme. They provided general medical examinations, ear, nose and throat (ENT) check-ups, ultrasound scans, blood pressure measurements, health consultations, guidance on preventing common diseases, and free medicines to more than 800 local residents. The programme costed over 200 million VND (7,600 USD).
The programme helped promote a spirit of community service and support for ethnic minority communities in mountainous and underprivileged areas. It also strengthened public trust in the People's Public Security force, contributing to a strong people-based security posture at the grassroots level while enhancing social welfare efforts across the locality.
The festival also featured 34 exhibition booths from hamlets, businesses and cooperatives across the commune, which showcased a wide range of local agricultural produce, traditional brocade products and outstanding OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, attracting large numbers of residents and visitors./.
