Free medical checkups, consultations, medicine provided for policy beneficiaries in Chieng La commune

Military Hospital 6 provided free medical examinations, health consultations, medicine, and gifts to policy beneficiaries in Chieng La commune on July 19.

At the programme, 300 policy beneficiaries in the commune received general health check-ups, consultations, and specialised examinations in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiography by doctors, nurses, and medical staff of the hospital.

In addition, various types of supplements and medications for common illnesses were distributed free of charge to the residents. The total value of the programme exceeded 70 million VND (2,676 USD).

On this occasion, Military Hospital 6 presented gifts to 10 policy beneficiaries in the commune, each valued at 700,000 VND, and provided some medical equipment for the communal Health Station.

This was one of the deeply humanitarian charitable activities carried out by officials, doctors, and medical staff of Military Hospital 6, aiming to honour policy beneficiaries and war invalids and martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).

This activity reflected the tradition of “drinking water, remembering its source,” expressing gratitude, and strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people.
