Gifts presented to poor households, disadvantaged students in Song Khua commune

The Red Cross Society of Son La province, in coordination with the Hanoi Red Cross Society and the Red Cross family of Ngoc Mai in Hanoi, organised a programme to present gifts to underprivileged households and students in Song Khua commune on September 7.

During the programme, the working delegation and benefactors handed over 1,000 gift packages, including 500 packages of essential necessities for poor households and 500 packages of school supplies for disadvantaged students.

The total value of the support exceeded 300 million VND (11,364 USD), funded by the Hanoi Red Cross Society, the Red Cross family of Ngoc Mai, and donations from various organissations and individuals both within and outside the province.

The programme helped spread the spirit of compassion, fosters community connection, and shares love, thus encouraging disadvantaged individuals to overcome difficulties and motivating students as they enter the new school year.
