Gifts presented to prestigious ethnic persons in Thao Nguyen, Moc Chau wards

The Son La provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs on January 21 paid visits and presented gifts to prestigious individuals among ethnic minority communities in Thao Nguyen and Moc Chau wards on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026.

There are currently 20 prestigious individuals in the two wards. Upholding their role, they have actively encouraged ethnic minority people to comply with the Party’s guidelines, State policies, and laws; participate in production and business development; build a cultural life in residential areas; strengthen the great national unity; and contribute to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the localities.

On this occasion, the department presented 20 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND (19 USD), to the prestigious individuals. It also encouraged them to continue promoting their role in information dissemination and public mobilisation, urging local people to observe Party guidelines and State laws, and to join hands in supporting disadvantaged households to overcome difficulties and stabilise their lives.
