In the communes, leaders of the department presented 20 Lunar New Year (Tet) gift packages to respected community figures. 

The delegation also inquired about the health and living conditions of village elders, village heads, and other respected individuals, and encouraged them to continue promoting their core and exemplary roles in propagating and mobilising local people to strictly comply with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws; actively participate in building new rural areas, maintaining security and social order, preserving ethnic cultural identities, and developing household economies.
