"Green Summer Volunteer Campaign" 2025 held in Muong La

Over five days (from July 30 to August 3), the Youth Union of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organised the “Green Summer Volunteer Campaign” 2025 in Huoi Muon hamlet, Muong La commune.

During the campaign, the delegation renovated and paved 200 square meters of the hamlet cultural house’s yard, painted decorative murals around the cultural house area, and installed 10 solar-powered lights. 

They also donated a bookshelf to the local preschool and primary school in Huoi Muon hamlet, awarded 42 scholarships to underprivileged students, and provided 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND or 19 USD) to 20 disadvantaged households. In addition, essential supplies such as plastic chairs, new clothing, and footwear were distributed to local residents.

The volunteer delegation presents gifts to disadvantaged households in Huoi Muon hamlet, Muong La commune.

The campaign also featured sessions on cybersecurity awareness, online fraud prevention, and guidance on using digital public services, helping local people gradually access a safer digital environment.

Volunteers provide guidance to local residents on cybersecurity and digital literacy.

This meaningful event embodied the spirit of sharing and volunteerism, affirming the pioneering role of youth in building humane and sustainable values in underprivileged areas.
