Housing construction funding delivered to 12 poor households in Yen Son commune

The Trade Union and Youth Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on January 22 presented funding to support the construction of houses for 12 households in especially difficult circumstances in Yen Son commune.

Attending the programme were Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong, along with leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Board.

With the spirit of joining hands for the poor and leaving no one behind, the BIDV Trade Union and Youth Union provided financial support for the construction of solid houses for 12 poor households facing particularly difficult conditions in Yen Son commune, with 70 million VND (244.152 USD) per household. Construction began in October 2025, and after more than four months, the houses were completed, meeting the “three-solid” criteria and ensuring stable living conditions for the households.

Funding is presented to support the construction of houses for disadvantaged households in Yen Son commune.

Also at the programme, the provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Board and BIDV presented 100 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged households in the commune on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026.

The programme is a meaningful social welfare activity, demonstrating the responsibility and companionship of BIDV, its affiliated units, and local authorities in caring for people’s livelihoods and contributing to the assurance of social welfare in the locality.
