Humanitarian market held in Pac Nga commune

The Son La provincial Red Cross Society on May 13 coordinated with the People’s Committee of Pac Nga commune to organise the “Humanitarian Market” on the occasion of Humanitarian Month 2026. Accompanying the programme were the Son La Foodbank Club and the Red Cross family of Ngoc Mai from Hanoi.

Leaders of Pac Nga commune distribute essential goods to local residents.

At the programme, the charity delegation arranged six booths and distributed gifts including blankets, mosquito nets, clothing, candy, and other essentials to 300 households, including policy beneficiary families, poor and near-poor households, disadvantaged households, and those affected by natural disasters in the commune. The total value of the programme was 210 million VND (7,970 USD).

Local residents receive gifts from the programme.

The “Humanitarian Market” is a meaningful and practical activity that helps support disadvantaged households while clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of the provincial Red Cross Society in accompanying and caring for vulnerable groups, thereby spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual support within the community.
