“Humanitarian Tet” gift-giving programme 2026 held in Chieng Lao commune

The Son La provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Red Cross family of Ngoc Mai from Hanoi’s Thuong Tin district and other sponsors, organised the “Humanitarian Tet” gift-giving programme in Chieng Lao commune on January 16.

At the programme, the provincial Red Cross Society presented 300 gift packages, each valued at 600,000 VND (22.84 USD), to support poor and near-poor households, disadvantaged families, and those affected by natural disasters. Each gift package included essential items such as warm blankets, instant noodles, glass noodles, monosodium glutamate, cakes, candies, and other necessities, with a total value of nearly 200 million VND (7,612 USD).
