"Huong sac vung cao" exhibition to take place from May 8-10 in Moc Son

The "Huong sac vung cao" (The colours and flavours of the highlands) exhibition will take place in Moc Son ward from May 8 to 10. The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Son La provincial People’s Committee, with the participation of Lai Chau, Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces.

A wide range of distinctive activities will be held within the framework of the exhibition, including photo displays featuring the beauty of the land and people as well as colours of ethnic cultures in mountainous areas; the "Huong sac vung cao" space showcasing traditional costumes, cultural heritage and signature cuisine of ethnic minority communities; and a festival of folk dance clubs featuring ethnic folk dances, and mass dance performances praising the nature, culture and people of the highlands in the renewal era.

To date, the organising board has completed the photo exhibition area, while participating units and localities are actively preparing and finalising the display spaces to ensure all conditions are in place for the successful organisation of the exhibition.

The exhibition is a meaningful cultural event aimed at introducing and promoting the potential for cultural, sports and tourism development, as well as the traditional cultural identities of ethnic minority communities in the mountainous areas to both domestic and international visitors.
