At the event, nearly 200 participants, including commune leaders, officials, civil servants, Party cell secretaries, village heads, militia leaders, heads of public security teams, and representatives of local socio-political organisations in Chieng Lao, were provided with knowledge on key contents of the 2021 Law on Drug Prevention and Control; and the 2024 Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue.

They were also informed about several contents related to the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 57/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2024, approving a project on the army’s participation in disseminating and mobilising ethnic minorities to actively counter hostile forces’ plots to divide the great national unity bloc in the new situation; and updates on current world, regional, and domestic affairs, as well as the province’s recent socio-economic, national defence, and security situation.

The conference contributed to strengthening communication and raising legal awareness among officials, Party members, and local residents; enhancing discipline and order; preventing and reducing legal violations in the area; and effectively bringing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws into practice, thereby promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defence and security in the locality.
