Long Sap supports eradication of 14 temporary houses

With the motto “no one left behind,” Long Sap commune has mobilised resources to support poor households in doing away with temporary and dilapidated houses.

A leader of Long Sap commune inspects the construction of a supported household’s new house in Bo Sap hamlet.

Since the beginning of the year, along with State funding, the commune has called on social and mass organisations, and local residents to provide materials and labour; mobilised community and household resources; and made use of locally available materials to help 14 poor households build and repair houses. These solid new homes give disadvantaged families greater stability, motivation to work, improve their livelihoods, and sustainably get rid of poverty.
