The Son La Vietnamese Women’s Association – Connecting Women from All Places on October 5 held a gathering to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – 2025). Established in July 2022, the association currently has 126 members who participate in activities across five local chapters: Moc Chau, Mai Son, Song Ma, Son La, and Thuan Chau.

Over the years, the association has actively expanded its operations, establishing one club for female entrepreneurs, two folk dance teams performing traditional Thai dances, five soft volleyball clubs, and five dancing clubs.

The association has also effectively carried out the movement “Women actively study, work creatively, and build happy families,” aligning it with various local social welfare campaigns.

To date, its members have jointly contributed tens of millions of VND along with 200 sets of clothing and essential goods to support people in areas affected by storms across the province.

Members also shared valuable experiences and insights on the role of women in modern families, secrets to building happy homes and raising healthy and well-behaved children, creative approaches to economic development, and participation in patriotic emulation movements.
