The exhibition features nearly 500 documents and photographs curated by the Vietnam National Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, and the provinces of Son La, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh.
The exhibits highlight images of President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders visiting ethnic minority communities in highland areas, as well as nature, daily life, culture, and people of the highlands.
Notably, the exhibition also recreates a traditional highland market in northern Vietnam.
The exhibition area showcasing works from Lai Chau province.
In Son La’s exhibition area, 80 photos are displayed under three themes: “Son La – Land and People,” showcasing the province’s socio-economic development achievements; “Son La Cultural Heritage,” featuring more than 20 intangible cultural heritages, historical sites, and tourist destinations; and “Son La Colours and Flavours,” presenting beautiful images of local tourist attractions.

The photo exhibition aims to introduce and promote to domestic and international visitors the tourism potential and traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in the context of renewal, integration, and development.
