The exhibition presents more than 100 documents and photographs vividly reflecting the formation, development, and landmark events of the National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels in Son La province.
The exhibition consists of two sections. Section 1, “80 Years of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam,” highlights the formation, development, and key historical milestones of the country’s highest organ of state power. Section 2, “Son La provincial People’s Council – Firm in Confidence, Bright Future,” features photographs documenting the development journey and important contributions of the provincial People’s Council through different periods.
The vivid archival images serve as evidence of the 80-year journey during which the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels have accompanied the nation throughout its history, from the struggle for national independence and reunification to the era of renewal and international integration. Hence, the exhibition strongly affirms their role in representing the will, aspirations, and mastery of the people.
The exhibition is open to the public and visitors until March 16.
