Phu Yen puts on a new look for Independence Day

In celebration of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2026) and National Day (September 2, 1945–2026), Phu Yen commune has spruced up its streets and public spaces, giving the locality a bright new look.

National flags, banners, posters and decorative displays have been installed along roads, in residential areas and around the central area, creating a festive and proud atmosphere among officials, Party members and local residents.

Along national highways and around event venues, the commune has put up 30 banners and pennants, 450 Party and national flags, replaced 250 square metres of posters and planted 30 new flower pots.

Decorative displays and check-in areas have also been set up at September 2 Park, providing spaces for residents and visitors to take photos during the holiday.
September 2 Park has been renovated ahead of the National Day holiday.

The commune has also stepped up environmental clean-up efforts and improved streets and public areas as part of preparations for the celebrations. The measures are aimed at improving the local appearance and creating a cleaner and more orderly environment for residents during the holiday./.
