Policies on economic development, startups popularised for ethnic minority youth

The Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the provincial Youth Union, held a conference on October 5 to popularise the Party’s guidelines and policies on socio-economic development, startups, and business activities or youth in ethnic-inhabited and mountainous areas.

The event was attended by representatives of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance, leaders of the provincial Youth Union, and 100 Youth Union members who are students of Tay Bac University.

At the event, speakers from the provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs and Tay Bac University delivered presentations on key topics, including major Party and State policies on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the current period; startup trends and opportunities for young people in mountainous regions; and youth group discussions proposing startup ideas suited to local conditions.

The conference helped youth union members gain a deeper understanding of the Party and State’s guidelines on supporting youth in economic development, encouraged them to confidently harness local potential and strengths to establish their careers, and promoted their active role in sustainable poverty reduction across the province.
