Programme raises awareness of school violence prevention

The People’s Procuracy of Region 1 – Son La on March 30 coordinated with Binh Minh International Primary, Secondary and High School to organise a programme to disseminate laws on the prevention of school violence for teachers and students.

The 90-minute programme featured a variety of engaging activities, including short drama performances about school violence; dissemination of legal regulations related to intentional infliction of injury; Q&A sessions; and mini-games to learn about laws on preventing school violence.

Through the programme, students were able to better recognise acts of school violence and understand their consequences as well as negative impacts on individuals, families, and society. Within the event, presenters from the People’s Procuracy of Region 1 – Son La also incorporated warnings about potential legal violations in the school environment, such as the use of e-cigarettes and stimulants.

The programme contributed to building a safe, friendly, and healthy school environment free from violence, while also enhancing coordination between judicial agencies and schools in legal education for teachers and students.
