Provincial Border Guard Command aims for planting over 3,000 trees

The provincial Border Guard Command on February 22 organised a tree planting festival in celebration of the Lunar New Year 2026.

Following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, in 2025, the Son La provincial Border Guard planted approximately over 2,400 trees, including timber and fruit trees, on an area of ​​about 7 hectares. These actions demonstrate the responsibility of the officers and soldiers in caring for and protecting the environment, starting from the smallest actions.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates planted 100 fruit trees in the grounds of the provincial Border Guard Command.

On this occasion, border guard posts and subordinate units also launched campaigns to plant over 3,000 timber and fruit trees of various kinds in the grounds of their units.
