Provincial Inspectorate presents gifts to Chieng Hoa commune

A working delegation from the provincial Inspectorate on February 27 visited, held a working session with, and presented gifts to Chieng Hoa commune - a disadvantaged Area III commune supported by the unit under the assignment of the provincial People’s Committee.

At the programme, the delegation listened to a report from the commune’s leaders on socio-economic development results in 2025 and the socio-economic development plan for 2026. Chieng Hoa commune proposed that the province pay attention to upgrading roads from the centre of the commune to the centres of the former Chieng Cong and Chieng An communes. 

The commune also requested the early implementation of population resettlement and stabilisation in several hamlets, including Pha Xe, Chong Du Tau, Khao Lao Duoi, and new Tao Van; investment in the Lang Xua and Han Ca Thenh irrigation projects to serve agricultural production; construction of a domestic water supply facility for Nong E hamlet; and the building and upgrading of inter-village and intra-village roads to gradually improve rural infrastructure.

The provincial Inspectorate delegation acknowledged the recommendations of the local authorities and affirmed that the provincial Inspectorate will continue to accompany and support Chieng Hoa commune in social welfare activities and livelihood development, contributing to the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction goals and the new-style rural area building.

The provincial Inspectorate presents 30 gift packages to policy beneficiary families.

On this occasion, the provincial Inspectorate delegation presented 30 gift packages to poor households and policy beneficiary families, each worth 1 million VND (38.4 USD). They also donated a livelihood model involving breeding goats valued at 50 million VND to the people of Chieng Hoa commune. This model is well suited to the local natural conditions and traditional farming practices, has strong potential for replication, and contributes to job creation, income generation, and sustainable economic development for local residents.
