Rural road in Huoi Han hamlet inaugurated

Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television, in coordination with VTC Mobile Services JSC and the Yulgang Origin VTC – Hiep Khach PC gaming community, inaugurated a rural road in Huoi Han hamlet, Bo Sinh commune on November 2. The ceremony was attended by local officials, benefactors, and a large number of local residents.

At the inauguration of the road in Huoi Han hamlet, Bo Sinh commune.

Huoi Han hamlet, home to 135 households and over 700 residents, is mainly inhabited by the Mong and Kho Mu ethnic groups. For years, locals and teachers at the Huoi Han satellite campus of Hoa Mi Kindergarten in Bo Sinh commune have struggled to travel due to a 3-kilometer dirt road connecting the hamlet to National Highway 12. The road becomes particularly muddy and slippery during the rainy season. Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television, together with the Bo Sinh commune People’s Committee, conducted surveys and prepared cost estimates, while calling on organisations, individuals, and businesses inside and outside the province to contribute funding for road construction.

Construction began in June 2025 and has now been completed. The 3km-long, 2.7m-wide concrete road was built at a total cost of over 700 million VND (26,603 USD). The main sponsors - VTC Mobile Services JSC and the Yulgang Origin & Hiep Khach PC gaming community - along with individual and corporate donors, contributed more than 500 million VND, while local residents provided over 700 workdays for construction.
